Rates

• $150 per 50 minute session
• $225 per 90 minute session (couples)

Insurance

I will be considered an out-of-network provider. Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. While payment is collected at the time of service, I can provide you with a receipt, which can be submitted for possible reimbursement.

Why I Don't Accept Insurance 

Insurance billing requires that I release your records to your insurance company. Once I do that, I can no longer promise you that your health records will remain confidential because they are no longer in my hands.

Insurance companies also require that I diagnose you. While there may be times that my clients meet the criteria of a diagnosis, sometimes they do not, and I would never want to put a mental health label on a client just for the sake of reimbursement.

Insurance companies determine your treatment, deciding how many sessions you can have and how often.  I want us to decide how your therapy sessions will look. Some clients just need a few sessions, others will need more. That is a decision we should be able to make together, because you know best what you need. Not the insurance company.

Payment

I accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex, Health Savings Account.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
